Offaly County Enterprise Board may make financial assistance available to qualifying clients for technical training, quality assurance certification, purchase of software, marketing assistance, trade fair support and website grants as follows:

Technical Training

€2,000 or max 50% of eligible expenditure
Direct course costs where a promoter needs to access specialist technical training specific to their sector/business, including accredited courses which will enhance the management or production capability of the staff or company, and assistance is not available through other schemes of the Board or State Agencies.

Purchase of Software

€2,000 or max 50% of eligible expenditure
Direct costs of specific software in relation to the production/operational process. The scheme may also consider applications from enterprises seeking to upgrade their production and operational software. This does not include generic software for PCs.

Marketing Assistance

€2,000 or max 50% of eligible expenditure
Design and marketing expertise in relation to branding, packaging and marketing. This grant specifically excludes printing costs.

Trade Fairs

€2,000 or max 50% of eligible expenditure
Direct costs associated with renting space, a stand or other direct costs from the Trade Fair organisers, nationally and internationally, including relevant costs incurred in bringing the product to the Trade Fair.

Website

€1,500 or max 50% of eligible expenditure
Design and development costs of website only. Fees for domain registration, hosting, training or on-going maintenance are not covered.

Quality Assurance Certification

€2,000 or max 50% of eligible expenditure
Implementation of Quality Assurance Certification (ISO, CE Approval etc) for product or process.  Application to be submitted in advance for adjudication by the Board and allocation of Business Advisor as appropriate.
